The Red Sox will open the regular season in the Ricoh Japan Opening Series 2008 against the Oakland A’s on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 25-26 at the Tokyo Dome with both games at 7:07 p.m. local time. For the A’s games, the Red Sox will be allowed to have a 28-man opening day roster, with 25 of those players eligible for those two games. Boston will then cut down to the normal 25-man limit when it resumes the regular season on April 1 in Oakland.
